This game is so basic. You tried making the point that you developed a game in a week. Okay? Many games could be made in that time frame. This game is on the level of a free mobile game, there's nothing special to it so, of course, you could get someone like this within a week. That little of a timeframe doesn't mean the game is gonna be good or exceptionally unique and it shows. What makes it different from any other car game? Why should I pick this one over better-developed ones? Hearing that a game was made in a week isn't particularly something to be impressed by if the time spent isn't equivalent to the desired quality and enjoyment factor. This is on the level of a demo at most and you used the point on Friday Night Funkin, a full game that's being developed with the intent to be quality and much more than its current state. Back to making a game in a week, anyone can say that it's such a general statement that anyone can use. No matter how experienced you are you can still say you made a game in a week or even less, at what point is a game considered a game? many games are plain simple and are still considered games, same goes with the platform and engine. Anything can be a game and that title was given to it still doesn't show the quality and effort. When people confronted you about whether the game would be of any quality you simply said petty responses that don't contribute anything to your views like asking them if they've made a game. Yeah sure, these people in the replies might be below you but a developing game like FNF that still has WAY more to be added is obviously above your little car demo. You never said your game was better than FNF but you definitely tried to make it sound like it's so easy to develop a game, you are fully away of bugs and features that need to be fixed and worked on so why are you trying to make it sound like anyone can speed past the issues and somehow develop their ideas into place in an instant? You confront people about if they've even made a game and then you talk about how you made yours in a week. Make up your mind, you acknowledge how much work it is but then make it sound like it's easy. Which one are you trying to lean to? It's not a hard choice you just keep acting irrationally. You already know FNF came from a game jam, that's literally making a game within a week right there. If your little game is a "game" then FNF in its current state is a game so what's the deal? These are two games according to you and FNF was made in about 3 days or so If I recall. When the game jam only had week 1 its original idea is still shown in its current state and it was just expanded upon, a base game was expanded on so what are you trying to say? The game isn't a game anymore because they decided to keep working on it? It makes no sense. You shouldn't flaunt rushing games and be fully aware that you have a buggy mess if the best games had years of development, are you saying that people need to start making their games basic as hell like what you delivered? You clearly have a direct bias if you're so confident to call your game good when others are getting on you, of course, the creator is gonna say their game is good, you wouldn't destroy your pride if it's something you made but it's clearly made you ignorant to how you view the perception from others, that's clearly a dev mindset that would lead to stuck up failure. The only reason you got to where you are is that you had no intention of going further than a car game yet you're sitting here at the bottom of development with a project that is at most exceptional looking down at a game miles above yours. When someone asked if it had 50 tracks, yknow, the thing FNF is working to get to and something that they promised to achieve, you simply responded "It's a car game" Are you trying to prove that your game is just a simple car game and that it doesn't need to be anything big to be cherished when you're trying to protect yourself from this while attacking FNF for not being able to fit your "developer standards and criteria". You're lost in ignorance and letting that developer mindset get to you. You think that just because you know how to begin a game makes you worthy of looking down at others games, you think you have something great to showcase and show as your greatest work to where you could compare it to something cherished by so many people, I could go on but someone like you needs to reflect and further develop before expanding and realizing reality as it is. If this was bait it still doesn't destroy this false reality that you placed yourself in, a reality where you personally place yourself so high and you know that you have more to work on but you're wasting time bringing this false perspective onto others who live in the truth, someone so eager to get attention and acceptance from others while at the same time making claims that go against the truth, trying to get others to see you as you see yourself but denying the truth of development, time, etc. that comes along. People are so eager for games to finish and then complain about why they're buggy messes, they rush people and expect their dream vision to be the final version of the project. People believe in what they want to see and hear but refuse to let things play out from those who are in control, why is that? Why do you refuse to let the devs create their perfect game? Games take years, Ideas still need to get past the planning stage, music needs to be developed to match. This is just the development we're talking about, what about all the collaborators? Making products alone is a lot of worth and coordination yet the FNF crew is making time to bring out merch along with the development of this big game. What about all the people they need to reach out to? Are people just free any second? No. This is reality, getting this perfect image of this game you believe in breaks you away from reality, people keep asking for updates and more but people don't understand that sometimes there's not much to show without downright giving spoilers and breaking the whole reality of waiting for this game if you're just given information right away. People have lives, people have goals and dreams, they weren't born to have to feed all these ideas to their supporters, if you don't believe in them then why do you still stick on and be negative? You don't believe in them yet you think so highly of them. Are humans born to be humans or are they born to be game developers? Are devs not allowed to have lives? Are they meant to work on this game 24/7 and create this full game in a week? Have you seen how much Anime studios get overworked and have all these new projects placed onto them and the same people who say they shouldn't be overworked start getting mad when they relax on the progress? What if they had no support? They would obviously be in this blank space with no one around them so a project like FNF could've turned out as a full game or stopped development way earlier and no one would care, why is it that just because they have all eyes on them that they need to follow the wants of the people, keyword wants, people don't need this game to be finished to continue in their lives, in a few years people will forget about this game or get bored of it so what makes this point in time so special? They got about 2 million and they could do so much with it, you do know they're legally required to fill the expectations of what was asked from all those people that lent their money. Humans evolve and push forward from their past, what if the most experienced game dev took years? Would it make people realize that making a masterpiece still takes time because clearly people are under-looking and over-looking major aspects and seeing what they want to see.
